Why I Do This
I kept seeing the same thing in neighborhood groups: people struggling with slow Wi-Fi, unreliable networks, and confusing technology advice.
Too often, the answer was another extender, another mesh device, or another temporary fix. But great networking starts with the right foundation.
With thoughtful planning, solid wiring, properly placed access points, and professional-grade hardware, a network can be built to handle the way you actually live and work — whether that means streaming, gaming, working remotely, running a smart home, or operating a small business.
What started as helping a friend in the neighborhood quickly turned into helping others create better technology experiences.
Blomstrom.Tech is a side business for me, which means every project is personal. I handle walkthroughs during weekday lunch hours and installations on weekends, giving each customer direct attention and a solution built around their needs rather than a one-size-fits-all package.
I take pride in building networks that simply work — reliably, consistently, and fast.
Who I Am
I’m a 30+ year veteran of the telecom and aerospace PCB design industry.
Over the course of my career, I’ve helped design products that shaped the internet we use today. In 1997, I worked on the first DOCSIS cable modem and saw firsthand how internet providers can fall short when it comes to delivering reliable performance and service.
I’ve also designed technology for the company that invented Ethernet, giving me deep insight into what makes networks stable and dependable.
At the end of the day, though, I’m simply a lifelong technology enthusiast who enjoys connecting things, optimizing performance, and making systems run fast and smoothly.
A Different Approach to Home & Small-Business Networking
Your network is infrastructure. It connects your computers, phones, televisions, cameras, smart-home devices, work systems and everything else that depends on a reliable connection.
That’s why I focus on the fundamentals: understanding the space, planning the network, using wired connections where they make sense, placing access points properly, and building the system around the equipment and applications you actually use.
The goal isn't simply to make Wi-Fi appear stronger. The goal is to build a network that has a solid foundation and can keep up as your technology needs grow.
Where I Work
I’m based in Missouri City, Texas, and most of my customers are located in the surrounding communities.
If your network has become a collection of workarounds — or you're planning a new home, remodeling, or building out a small business — I can help you figure out what the network should look like before you start buying more equipment.
Let's Build a Better Network
Tired of dead zones, buffering, unreliable connections, or technology that never quite works the way it should?
Let's start with a conversation about what you have, what you need, and where you want your network to go.
